Abstract

This study develops a structural model examining the relationship between Work–Life Balance and Lecturers' Job Stress, with Burnout as a mediator and Organizational Support as a moderator. The novelty lies in integrating personal, psychological, and organizational factors into a single framework. A quantitative explanatory survey was conducted with 250 university lecturers, and the data were analyzed using Path Analysis. The results show that Work–Life Balance negatively affects Burnout (β = −0.618) and Job Stress (β = −0.284), while Burnout positively affects Job Stress (β = 0.571) and significantly mediates the relationship (β = −0.353). Organizational Support moderates the effects of Work–Life Balance on Burnout and Job Stress. The proposed model provides practical guidance for improving lecturers' well-being and sustainable academic performance.
